Sandalwood Growers Co-op

The SGC is a Co-operative run by Growers for Growers

We are here to protect Growers’ from Quintis and their US owners Blackrock

Mission

The SGC was formed by substantial Growers’ to protect their own and other Growers’ interests from the Blackrock controlled Quintis group.Blackrock and the Quintis directors were responsible for flushing shareholders in the original Quintis company.SGC’s mandate is to protect MIS Growers’ from a similar fate to those shareholders

The SGC aims to support growers in pursuing a legal case against Quintis, its directors, and Huntley Management for contract breaches, negligence, conflicts of interest and unconscionable conduct, enabling independent marketing of their harvest and seeking compensation for damages for past losses.

Sectors

Our Focus Areas

The Co-op has identified suitable service providers for the role of Manager and is ready to act to assist growers replacing Quintis who have consistently failed to act in the best interests of growers.

01

Forestry Management

The SGC and its directors have the experience ,the relationships and the access to industry markets to ensure growers can maximize their returns from their plantations and to reverse the trend since Blackrock took control of grower prices declining. A major focus of the legal action being pursued against Quintis is to reaffirm growers'  rights to independently market and sell their own produce out side the Blackrock controlled Quintis. .

02

Marketing and Sales

The SGC  can't provide legal or financial advice but we are well placed to provide legal and litigation support as required by growers. The SGC has identified an expert team of legal practitioners, and senior counsel with the knowledge skills and experience to take on Quintis and provide growers with the best possible opportunity to preserve their valuable plantation assets and seek compensation for past losses.
